StrucLink offers structural engineering services in the areas of New Construction, Renovations/Upgrade and Structural Components. We understand that communication is key to the success of any project. That is why we have adopted a different milestone strategy. To constantly update our clients of progress throughout the duration of the project.
NEW CONSTRUCTION
We offer full structural engineering services for residential, industrial, commercial and institutional type projects from the schematic design phase through to construction review. This is the traditional six-phase system – from inception to construction completion. These six phases are as follows:
RENOVATIONS/UPGRADES
We also offer structural engineering services for renovation and upgrade type projects. This is a custom-made service designed to address the client’s specific needs. This type of service usually begins with a consultation meeting with the client to review and determine the project’s design requirements followed by a fee proposal that outlines the scope of work, payment schedule and timelines.
STRUCTURAL COMPONENT
You can also rely on our services to provide you with structural design for special structural components. Our design will be presented in form of shop drawings or construction drawings. This type of service mainly includes the following three phases:
▪ Steel, Wood & Concrete construction of industrial, commercial and institutional (ICI) buildings.
▪ Residential construction (Custom & Multi-unit homes)
▪ Mid-rise construction of mix-used wood framed buildings.
▪ Renovations and additions of existing buildings.
▪ Foundation repairs.
▪ Structural condition assessment.
▪ Seismic screening, evaluation and upgrading of building.
▪ Wind load bearing steel stud design.
▪ Foundation design for pre-engineered buildings.
▪ Seismic restraint of mechanical equipment.
All our consultations and engineering services are proposal based and are billed by projects milestones as established in the scope of work. This ensures our invoices are processed with a prior mutual understanding between both parties.
